Interview with Mr.Ludington

This is a transcript of an interview featuring Futures High School Physical Education Teacher, Justin Ludington

Mr. Ludington:  “I decided to become a teacher because when I was younger.  My parents were teachers, my Dad was a P.E. teacher and I played sports all the time.  Plus, I have always been interested in teaching P.E.”

Mr Ludington:  “In order to become a P.E teacher you have to go through a lot of schooling and pass some tests.  It also helps to get your name out there for people to recognize you, which will give you better opportunities to become a P.E. teacher.”

Mr Ludington:  “What makes a good P.E. teacher having a lot of patience and being able to adapt to the weather; the sun, the rain, or snow if you live in the mountains. Also, it’s important to have a good sense of humor and bring a good positive attitude every day.”

Mr. Ludington:  “My favorite sport to play is golf.  Golf is also my favorite sport to teach, because it’s a lifelong sport and anybody can play it.  Golf, for me, is the ultimate sport!”
